The Harbin International Hotel (Haerbin Guoji Fandian) is located in Harbin's commercial and financial center in Nangang District, only 1 km from the railway station and 30 km from the airport.
Opened in 1937 and refurbished in 2008, the hotel building was originally designed by Russian architects. It once received Chinese leaders including Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai and other celebrities from home and abroad. The newly refurbished hotel maintains its original classical style and is furnished with modern facilities.
